Landscape & Grounds Committee
What We Do: The LGC develops design guidelines, reviews plans and makes recommendations for landscaping, maintaining and improving the common areas of the community, including around the Lodge. This also involves water conservation and snow removal management. The Committee works closely with the community manager & contractors to ensure a high quality of services within its financial means. During the summer months, Committee representatives meet with the contractor's lead supervisor every 2 weeks for reports and suggestions on how to improve the appearance of our community.
Who We Are & When We Meet: The LGC holds its monthly meeting at 3 pm on the first Tuesday of each month, either online or at the Lodge. Work sessions of the whole or subgroups are called, as needed. The members of this dedicated team are: Mike Freece [Chair], Marsha Wells [Vice Chair], Jean Backe [Secretary], Ed Bodnar [Past Chair], Kay Osmundson, Cathy Schmit, Greg Schmit, Bob Iwanchuk, David Wandersee, Laura Archer, Carol Kendall, Scott Williams [Villas Landscape & Grounds Subcommittee Chair] and Community Manager Michelle Walsh. Board liaison member is Peter Keppler.
