The Emergency Preparedness Committee provides information and resources to the Skyestone Board, committees, task forces, staff, and residents regarding emergency preparedness to help the Skyestone Community make educated and informed decisions, and better prepare for emergencies. 

 

The Committee's scope includes: 

  • Assess the needs of the Skyestone Community regarding emergency preparedness
  • Connect with local first responders and emergency management entities regarding emergency preparedness for the Skyestone Community

  • Obtain information on existing emergency preparedness programs and participate in these programs as appropriate

  • Share information regarding emergency preparedness and resources with Skyestone residents through a variety of methods, including the development and distribution of an Emergency Preparedness Resources Document

  • Recommend meaningful and cost-effective emergency preparedness programs and projects to the Board.


Committee meetings are held the third Thursday of every month.
